How long after purchase before I can download?
Downloads are available immediately after a successful payment has been made.
How many returns and eFiles?
The Deluxe, Premier and Home & Business software includes 5 free federal e-files at no additional cost. If you need to file more than 5 federal returns, you can mail them in at no additional charge. From within the software you will be able to download one state portion of the software. So if you live in California, you will be able to download the California state portion of the software. You can mail unlimited state returns for free. Intuit will charge $19.99 to e-file any state returns. If you need to file for more than one state, Intuit will charge you $39.99 for any additional state software downloads. The Intuit license allows for installation on up to three (3) computers. All of this is the same, no matter where the software is purchased.

Turbotax Business includes 5 free federal eFiles. The state portion of the software can only be purchased directly from Turbotax. The state portion can be purchased from within the Turbotax Business software. Turbotax will charge $49.99 for each state download. The Business version of Turbotax will not deal with personal tax returns. If you need to file a personal tax return in addition to your corporate tax return you will need to choose the appropriate one of the other Turbotax versions.

The Business version will deal with S Corp, C Corp, partnerships, estates, trusts and multi-member LLC.
What if I have a problem downloading?
You may have something interfering with the download. Some possible culprits are Windows Smartscreen, a firewall, download manager or anti-virus software. You will need to temporarily disable any of these during the download process. You may also want to try an alternate web browser. We recommend the free browser Mozilla Firefox.

Where did my file go after downloading?
Be sure to note the download location as you begin the download. We have no control over where your software is downloaded to on your computer.

The Internet browser you use when downloading a file will determine where the file is saved.

The fastest way to view your recent downloads in Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome, is to press Ctrl+J on your keyboard. After the shortcut key is pressed, a downloads tab or window should appear.

For Mac Users

From the Finder, you can open the Downloads folder by opening a new Finder window (File → New Finder Window, or press ⌘-N) and navigating to

[Your Hard Drive] → Users → [Your user name] → Downloads.

Also, there is usually a link to this folder in the Favorites pane.

How are your prices so amazing?
All of the software we sell is the same as other physical and online stores. One of the ways we keep prices low is by not having a physical storefront. We have agreements with multiple known retailers. This allows us to purchase and sell overstock at reduced prices. Due to confidentiality agreements, we are not permitted to divulge the identities of these partnerships. We enable multiple downloads of all purchased downloadable products. So, even though the product only needs to be downloaded once, customers have multiple opportunities in case of problems. If you ever have problems downloading the software again, just send us an email with your order number to let us know. All of the software we sell comes with the same guarantees, updates and support.
Can I have a disc mailed to me?
No. The download version is identical to the disc version. It includes all of the same support and updates. We offer multiple downloads for convenience. This is in case there are any problems during the download process and you need to re-download. In the future, if your download ID has expired and you need to download again, just send us an email with your order number, to let us know. Once purchased and downloaded, the software can be put on a CD or flash drive for installation and backup purposes. The Intuit license allows for installation on up to three computers. No disc will be shipped.
Where is my product key?
Turbotax has never provided nor required a product key for the installation of Turbotax software. All Turbotax products sold by us include the same great Intuit customer support. You can still register the software from within the software and you will be prompted to create an Intuit ID. Please do not confuse this with any kind of product key.
